Have you ever heard song lyrics that speak to you in a certain way? This is how I felt about the above lyrics and my relationship with graduate school.
Over the course of 2 years, I will have written numerous papers, given oodles of presentations and read more journal articles than I could have imagined. All this work however isn't what the 2 years is about. For me, it's the reward of graduating and starting fresh. Having a greater appreciation for hard work and having the wonderful accomplishment of learning something new!
I very much look foward to the welcome I'll receive from the restart.
